The film director Jeff Baena, known for “Life after Beth” and “Joshy”, and the producer Liz Destro of Destro Film Production Company in Los Angeles, were enchanted by the landscape and the historical heritage of the Serchio Valley. So much so that they chose the region as the location for the new dark comedy “The Little Hours”, set in the Middle Age. The film stars Alison Brie e Dave Franco, Kate Micucci, Aubrey Plaza, John C. Reilly and Molly Shannon.
Tuscany DMC organized the location scouting, coordinated local suppliers, handled ground transfer services for the cast and crew and accomodations in the Serchio Valley, North West Tuscany.
We also guaranteed specific film production services such as shooting permissions, on-set assistance, casting, tax incentives, via our partnership with the Italian production company DubLab.
The film “Little Hours”, now in post-production, is upcoming in the US.
